Ellen has experience in residential, retail and office design in various parts of the United States and overseas. Working in Provence, France, broadened her appreciation of architecture and its relation to culture. At The Sea Ranch, a residential community on the rocky shores of northern California, Ellen created buildings that respect and respond to the natural setting of the rugged West. She continued her pursuit of environmentally conscious and sustainable design through a recent project in the Colorado mountains. Ellen has a professional degree from the University of Arizona and is a registered architect.
