Soldano|Luth Office

The Seattle-based firm is located in the quiet Ravenna neighborhood near the University of Washington. Currently, led by owner Jeff Luth, the firm is supported by two project designers and one project staff member, as well as several various web and interior design associates. Soldano | Luth takes pride in it’s ability to produce exemplary architecture across the western United States while truly remaining a local business. With every project, homeowners can expect to work closely with Jeff and the design team. Established relationships between SLA and local contractors allow smooth execution of projects.

Jeff Luth
Owner | Architect

Since 1989, Jeff has co-owned and operated Soldano | Luth Architects, an independent, Seattle-based architecture design practice. After working with Ralph Anderson and George Suyama, Jeff entered private practice with partner architect Mike Soldano. Jeff brings to each project the benefit of his sophisticated design background. He is passionate about buildings and their relationship to the site and region. His designs reflect his desire to create modern regional and timeless architecture. While away from his sketches, you might find Jeff skiing, watching the Huskies, or volunteering with his neighborhood Little League.

Eric Luth
Project Designer

Eric, Jeff’s son, received a Bachelor’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington, unaware that he would eventually pursue a career in architecture. Eric began working at Soldano Luth in 2016, where he focused on the engineering aspects of building and design. Since then he has developed a greater interest in architectural design, and hopes to return to school to earn his Master of Architecture degree. Outside of the office, Eric enjoys skiing, boating around Lake Washington, and watching Husky football.

Mike Soldano
Owner | Architect

Mike began a private architecture firm in the late 1950’s and eventually hired the then college student Jeff Luth. In 1989 the two made the decision to officially form Soldano | Luth Architects LLC as co-owners. The partners designed modern-elegant homes together for 20 years. Mike Soldano passed away in 2009, but his design influence still exists in the structures he's created across the Pacific Northwest and in current Soldano | Luth projects. A good friend and ambitious designer, Mike is dearly missed.
